Avery & Shane in January '12

Lots of exciting things happening in the Jones household right now.

Shane: is 7 months old today. He is the cutest thing EVER. He's sleeping on average 13-15 hours overnight. He can sit like a champ. He sits unassisted for a long time. He pushes up with his arms, still no closer to crawling. If I put him on his hands and knees, he can hold it for a little bit and rocks back and forth. But he won't get into that position on his own.

And still no teeth.  Having no teeth hasn't stopped him from babbling though.  He babbles using consonant sounds all the time now.  When both of them are in their rooms, sometimes I can't tell which kiddo is talking;)

Avery: she still continues to amaze/impress me. She learns new words and phrases all the time. "Hurry up mom", was yesterday's newest one. She still loves to sing and I love hearing her sing, "Just like a rockstar, hey, hey, hey", from The Fresh Beat Band or, "La la la la la", from the pop song, "You Make Me Feel Good". She has turned into quite the devilish toddler. She tore her tree decal off the wall, drew all over herself with a pen (still don't know where she got that), put her blue bath soap all over the bathroom, takes all her clothes out of her dresser and throws them all over her room...even with a safety latch...she can fit her tiny arm in there and pull stuff out. She has 2 boyfriends now...Hunter and Mason;) And she still loves big slides, climbing, bouncing, spinning, rocks, Winnie the Pooh, and Mickey Mouse.

Me: I don't even know where to start. I'm doing horrible on Weight Watchers. I cheat way too much. I met other people in our neighborhood and we have play dates and girls night out. So my social life has been great;) But of course, now we are looking at moving. We have gotten serious about moving now. I think we are going to refinance our house and then lease it. We need a lot more space than what our current house provides. We are looking at other houses and I'm so excited!!!
