18-Month Appt.
Avery went with her daddy to the pediatrician yesterday for her 18-month well check. I had to work and you know how men are with details...sigh. So, she is 33" tall (90-95th percentile), and 26lbs (75th percentile). It's really hard for me to believe that she weighs that much. Carrying her, yes. Looking at her, no. She's like a twig. She only got one shot that her father can't remember what it was. And apparently was not as much of a Holy terror as she was at 15-months. Our next appt is when she is 2 years old. Hallelujah!!! Chris told me that our pediatrician said he knew he would see us before then though...should be in about a month actually.

35 Weeks
5 weeks left, 2 until I am considered "full term". Everything is going well. I feel great, my cold is getting better and I'm not too terribly uncomfortable...yet. Not much to report. All my apps say Shane is now 5lbs. That's so crazy to me. AND now the countdown is down in the 30's...30-days left...I can't believe it!

18 Months!
A year and a half!!! I cannot believe it! Avery has been so busy lately. Let's see...I have a cold, I thought it was severe allergies, but no medication would help. SO I finally had to resort to cold medicine. I am still snotting everywhere, but feel better. Avery has been a complete angel ALL day so far. We'll see what she is like after her nap. Here is what Avery has been up to now that she's 18-months:
*Repeats things almost instantly, my favorite one is her, "oh no".
*Listens & for the most part follows my instructions. "Chairs are for sitting"
*Seems taller and skinnier.
*And yes, the tantrums have started. She will lay down on the ground instead of cooperating. Embarrassing.
*She is talking a lot more thanks to her quick repeats.
*She loves Wonder Pets (unfortunately).
*This morning she sat at the table like a big girl (the whole time) and ate her Lucky Charms with a spoon (for part of it anyway). I also went ahead and switched her sippy to the 24+months one. It's a little messy, but she's got it. AND I swear she's so smart! I gave her the cup this morning without taking one of the parts out. She tried to drink from it, then handed it back to me immediately like, "fix it".
*I'm so proud of her for being so smart, listening so well and for learning so much so soon. I love her too much;)

34 Weeks/Appt
I am officially 34 weeks today. 6 weeks left and 3 until I am full term. I have to say that even though I am uncomfortable, I am doing better than I did with Avery. I am still able to sleep (not as good as pre-pregnancy), but better than I did with Avery. My heartburn and acid reflux is handled by Zantac. I do feel a lot of pressure and sensations down there, but that is normal. AND he feels a lot heavier, but according to all my baby apps he is about 4lbs now, so that could probably explain it.
My appt today was less than stellar. They weighed me while my bladder was full which always pisses me off. Then she yelled my weight to the lady entering my weight...thank you? Blood pressure is good. Heartrate is 142. He was very active as usual...my little wiggle worm. Then they did 2 vaginal swabs to test for Group B Strep. I had NO idea they would be doing that, so that was fun, NOT. Then they measured me. I am assuming I'm measuring right on schedule because they didn't say anything. Then another wonderful surprise, an HIV test. BLAH! My next appt is at 36 weeks and then I start going every week and they will start checking my cervix. It has gone by so fast. I am trying to enjoy these last 6 weeks of pregnancy. But knowing that everyone who is due around me went early with their 1st, makes me anxious because I went late. Sigh.
Here is my 34 week picture...and I have absolutely no makeup on.

May Pics
Memorial Day Weekend...
We went swimming in the backyard...
We colored...
Now she has an obsession with water...
Watching her favorite show, The Wonder Pets with daddy's hat on....
Getting ready to go to Wal-Mart...
Happy 18-months Avery! If she looks distracted at all it's because the Wonder Pets were on. And now I have that stupid song stuck in my head..."what's gonna work? TEAMWORK". And check out how much freaking hair this child has! It should come as no surprise because I have a lot of hair and Chris had a bush when he was younger, but when she was a baby her hair was so fine and thin. After her haircut, it grew in so thick, it's crazy!
On Friday, May 20th, Avery and I went a Mom's Event called MetroMom's Hop Into Summer with Amy and Landon. It was at Going Bonkers in Lewisville. I told Chris that we have to bring Avery back the next time we are both off work. She had fun...despite her many laying on the floor refusing to move tantrum episodes. She wore me out. She was wild and wanted to play everywhere!

Shane's Shower
Today was Shane's shower and it was so much fun! I decided to do family only because of etiquette. And it was great to see my mom, sister, sister-in-law, mother-in-law, aunt-in-law, and cousin-in-law. I got THE cutest stuff and am so excited!!! Here are all and I literally mean all the pictures I took today...
