Is it October yet?!

September 27th, she is starting to walk everywhere...faster!

Her hair looks blonder here...hmmm...

Not quite yet, but it is fall and it feels be-autiful outside!!!

10-Months Old!

This month has been another really awesome one! Avery has been making some really rapid changes! She started by standing up by herself without holding onto anything for longer periods of time, she even does plies before going back up to standing (so proud). Avery had her 1st visits to the Fort Worth Zoo, the Just Between Friends Consignment Sale, and her 1st Fossil Ridge football game.
She has 4 top teeth and 3 bottom teeth.
She had milk for the 1st time.
AND the big one....she is now walking!!!! She took her 1st steps on September 18th at just 9-months old. I can't help but be a super proud mom. She looks like me, she acts like me AND she started walking at the same time I did, 9 months.
As for me and Chris we are both on Weight Watchers. I am going to meetings with some people at the Ridge and Fossil Hill. I lost 2.8 pounds in my 1st week and am enjoying eating better. I don't know why I never tried doing this before!!!

Lions, Tigers, and Boo-Bear! Oh my!

Chris and I took Avery to the Fort Worth Zoo for the 1st time today. She was wonderful as usual...but definitely was more into people watching than animal watching. And there was definitely a lot to see...in both the animal variety AND human variety. It makes Wal-Mart look small time! It also reminded me in so many ways why I don't like small children!!! But we did enjoy our time there and it is ranked in the top 5 Zoos in America...pretty cool!
