4-Month Pediatric Appointment

My brave little girl...
Avery had her 4-month well-check this morning. Everything looks good. She weighs 13lb 9oz now, so my baby girl is really growing! She is 25" long. She had 1 oral vaccine and 4 shots. I felt horrible for her, but her daddy was there to hold her hands during her shots. She has been really good since her shots too, really sleepy. Her pedi told us to start solids 2X a day (veggies, fruits, cereal). And to introduce a new solid every 3-4 days. I'm so excited because I'm really sick of formula.
On a very different note...I was able to wear my pre-pregnancy shorts today!!!! SO EXCITING! And to make the day even better, my wedding ring fits. I can wear all 3 bands!!! I don't think I can take them off, but hey, at least they fit!!!!!!

4-Months Old!!!

Avery is officially 4-months old today. Here is what has been happening since week 13...

*She's babbling.

*Stopped swaddling, now she is in her sleep sack:)

*Went to doctor for PPD. Feeling MUCH better!

*Avery got to go to Ryder's babyshower. She was VERY good!

*Started rice cereal in her bottle.

*Avery weighs 11lb 8oz

*She is sleeping 12-hours overnight!

*Tried green beans (dislike) and sweet potatoes (still trying to figure out what they are).

*She had her 1st trip to a restaurant, Pizza Inn. I ate there a lot when she was in my tummy.

*Took her to her 1st dance contest to see Aunt Becky's team.

*FINALLY playing with overhanging toys and grasping things.

*Went to the hospital to see her future boyfriend, Ryder.

*Laughed out loud on the day she turned 17 weeks. It was like her smile all over again, what an absolute cutie pie!

We have her 4-month doctor's appointment this Friday. NOT looking forward to it because she will receive more vaccines:(
